Drawing Lesson 7 - Op-Art Wavy Groove

Take an 8.5 x 11 inch piece of cardstock, turn it on it's side,  and draw 8 or 9 wavy lines down it.

Draw a circle about the size of a quarter somewhere
on your paper (but not in the middle!).

Keep drawing circles (like ripples) going out from your circle, all the way to the edge of the paper.

Starting at the far corner from the small circle, draw an X in every other space. This part is tricky! Draw them lightly because you will color them in later.

Choose a Sharpie and color in all the spots with an X.

Choose a complementary color (opposite on the color wheel) Sharpie and color in all the white spots.

Turn in your paper to the red basket on my desk!

Make sure you have your name and period number on the back!
