Last Step
Save Your Work
Go to File > Save As
Save your files to the desktop named as: PeriodNumber-LastName-FirstName-Lesson3-Assignment1.psd
Make sure you have the ".psd" at the end or you will not be able to open your file next time.
Log into Moodle and upload your file from the desktop to Moodle under Lesson 3 Assignment 1 Eye Eye.
STEP #3
See How You Are Doing
Turn off the "EYE" on the original eye layer to see how you are doing every once in a while.
Keep getting colors with the eyedropper and adjusting your brush size to finish painting the rest of your eye.
You might want to try more new layers for different parts of the eye as you progress.
Hold down CONTROL and click on the image. Choose COPY IMAGE.
Choose EDIT>PASTE... or ht Command + V
Go into Photoshop and choose FILE>NEW...
When the New Window comes up, don't change any settings, just click OK.

Add a New Layer above your eye layer. Click the icon next to the small trash can at the bottom of the Layers Palette.

Choose the BRUSH TOOL and click the brush size button, then set the settings as shown.

Make sure the new blank layer is selected.
Hold down the OPTION key and the cursor will turn into an EYEDROPPER.
Move the paintbrush around and see how the color on top turns into the color of the picture.
Click and Select a color of the eye to use with the paintbrush.
PAINT the color you chose OVER the same color of the eye on the blank layer.
ASK JOHNSON ABOUT THIS IF YOU ARE CONFUSED!
TAKE YOUR TIME AND ZOOM IN IF YOU NEED TO! Keep choosing new colors with the eyedropper to paint the rest of the eye. Change brush sizes if you need to with the left and right brackets.

This will take a while. Use lots of colors from the eye picture. Let me know if you have any questions or need help!
