Lesson 16: - Photo Magnets
STEP #1
You will open and resize a favorite project and then have it printed as a magnet!
Open a Photoshop or InDesign project that you liked and would like to make a magnet out of it!
Remember, if you open an InDesign project, you have to drag any graphics that you used to the Desktop, too, and make sure they are linked (Open the LINKS PALETTE to check. If the yellow “YIELD” sign is there, click on it twice.)
FOR INDESIGN ONLY:
Go to File>Export and choose DESKTOP. When the Export to Interactive PDF screen comes up, click OK.
Open Photoshop. FILE>OPEN your image (if it’s a PDF on the Desktop, open that). Go to IMAGE>IMAGE SIZE.

Click the RESAMPLE IMAGE button.

FOR A WIDE IMAGE
If your image is “WIDE” make the Width 4.625 inches and let the height adjust itself. Change the resolution to 150. Click OK.
Choose FILE>SAVE AS then JPEG. Save to the DESKTOP and put in the MAGNET folder in Moodle.

FOR A TALL IMAGE
If your image is “TALL” make the height 4.625 inches and let the width adjust itself. Change the resolution to 150. Click OK.
Choose FILE>SAVE AS then JPEG. Save to the DESKTOP and put in the MAGNET folder in Moodle.
